Crabtree #3 Best Beach -Walk 2 Restaurant and Town

Perfect family vacation !

We absolutely loved our recent stay at Crabtree #3. It was everything we had hoped it would be – charming, private, relaxing, in a beautiful setting overlooking that exceptionally blue sea. The beds are very comfortable, the linens and towels are high quality, there are thoughtful touches everywhere, and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The covered porch facing the beach is the perfect place for relaxing, and there are additional lounge chairs in the yard if you want to be even closer to the water. We rented a golf cart for daily excursions, plus trips to the grocery stores which were well stocked. There are several restaurants with excellent menus a short walk or ride away. Everyone on the island is exceptionally welcoming and friendly. We especially loved the three dogs who have made the beach in that area their home. Although we had planned on snorkeling from our beach, the Polar Vortex caused an out-of-the-ordinary shift in the typical wind direction causing high surf. However, there were other beaches on the island in locations quiet enough for swimming. In advance of the trip, the management staff were extraordinarily helpful and responsive regarding every detail related to our stay. Anything that we needed while we were there was responded to quickly by the on-island manager. Many thanks!

Awesome, relaxing and peaceful

Such a lovely place with spectacular views of the beach and sunsets. Great location too! We got in late and was incredibly thankful for the breakfast items waiting for us in the fridge. Such a nice gesture after a very long day of travel. We used Jack for our taxi service from the airport. Would not use him again, very odd encounter. The apartment has everything you could possibly need which was so nice! Extra towels, tissue and so many kitchen items we really appreciated. The beds were super comfortable, pillows were great and there were extra linens. Loved that there was a washer and dryer on site too. The dogs and donkeys were super sweet. We enjoyed them visiting us daily. The water was much too rough in front of the apartment so we rode the bikes provided to Governors beach and pillory beach. We preferred governors beach. Water was so calm and crystal clear there! The bikes are in good shape and we enjoyed riding them to the grocery too. They had cute little baskets attached to them so it made bringing groceries back so much easier. Overall, a wonderful stay and so many thoughtful amenities inside the home. We can’t wait to visit again!

Magical as always. The apartments are in a prime location right on the beach. They are very clean and well managed along with excellent and prompt communication from the host. Looking forward to next year!
